Government of Haryana started a
Government College at Matanhail (Jhajjar) vide Memo No. 7/15/2014 C-I (4) dated
11.07.2014 of Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Haryana w.e.f. ensuing
academic session 2014-15 in the building of Govt. Sr. Sec. School Matanhail
(Jhajjar) with the permission to admit two units in Arts stream (240 seats) and
Commerce stream (80 seats). The science stream was started during 2015-16 with
60 seats Non-Medical and 20 seats in Medical. The classes of the college were
started in its newly constructed building situated at P.W.D. Kosli Road on
07.03.2017.
The
total covered area of the college building is 35936.22 Sq. feet. 638 students
were on roll in the college during 2019-20.
